2020 – Classic – A warm but balanced vintage, with a sunny start, rain in late spring, and a stable ripening period. The wines are generous and expressive, but still fresh, with rounded tannins and a harmonious, approachable classicism.
2021 – Powerful – A sunny, mostly dry vintage supported by good winter water reserves and cool nights. The wines show concentration, structure, and vibrant acidity, with more depth and power than usual for La Morra, while still keeping aromatic finesse. The absence of extreme heat and a favourable, dry autumn helped preserve freshness despite the vintage’s concentration.
